Write for us
Lively Weekly Bulletin welcomes pitches that help readers find a satisfying way to spend a little free time in a city week. Send proposals through the Contact page.
Ideas that fit
We are interested in clear, original pieces about nearby outings, home pursuits, gatherings, seasonal leisure and the practical shape of free time around work and commuting. A strong idea has one distinct subject, a defined reader and a useful point that can stand without statistics or claims of personal testing.
Make the pitch specific
Tell us the proposed angle, what the reader will understand or be able to decide after reading, and why the subject suits Lively Weekly Bulletin. A brief outline and a note about relevant experience or any interests connected to the subject are helpful. Please distinguish your own observations from facts that need independent checking.
Before sending
Proposals are not guarantees of assignment or publication. Do not send confidential material or assume that a submission is commissioned. Use the Contact page to share your pitch and include a way for us to reply; no personal information beyond what is needed for that conversation is required.
Free time deserves a shape of its own
A good week need not be packed. We look for modest plans with a clear point, enough flexibility and room for the ordinary pleasures along the way.
